Raegan is a PhD student at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Steven Cooke in the Fish Ecology and Conservation Physiology Laboratory. She recently completed her MSc in Biology at Carleton University under the co-supervision of Dr. Steven Cooke and Dr. Karen Smokorowski where she completed her thesis “Towards a model to predict and mitigate stranding risk of fishes under various hydropeaking regimes and river systems”. Her current work uses acoustic telemetry to investigate the movement ecology of Emerald Bowfin (Amia ocelicauda) and Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush) in the Rideau Lake system.
